Metairie Small Animal Hospital will open a satellite location in the new Robért Fresh Market Shopping Center at the corner of Elysian Fields and St. Claude Avenues in New Orleans, Corporate Realty, Inc announced today.
The new retail space will complement local grocery chain Robért Fresh Market, which will open a new, 26,000-square-foot store as the anchor of the shopping center. The location is within the block bounded by Elysian Fields Avenue, St. Claude Avenue and Marigny and North Rampart Streets. The development also includes approximately 12,200 square feet of additional retail opportunities.
The new animal clinic will provide medical and surgical care, pet grooming and day care services to residents in the surrounding neighborhoods.
Metairie Small Animal Hospital staff members are looking forward to providing quality veterinary care for pets in the area while promoting animal welfare as a visible fixture in the community.
“This project provides a unique opportunity for us to create a humane, compassionate and caring environment in the heart of New Orleans,” Dr. Rene Baumer, DVM, Metairie Small Animal Hospital partner, said.
Representatives with Robért Fresh Market are excited about new and needed services coming to the neighborhood.
“Together, we will be able to serve the needs of our neighbors by bringing services and products that are not currently accessible in the area, ” Robért Fresh Market General Manager President Marc Robért II said.
“We have a few remaining spaces available and are looking to bring in other high-quality tenants to compliment Robért Fresh Market and Metairie Small Animal Hospital,” Lavin said.
Construction of the shopping center is proceeding quickly, with Robért Fresh Market scheduled to open at the beginning of 2018. Metairie Small Animal Hospital is set to open in May of 2018.
