Four new businesses are expanding in South Market, a mixed-use development at the center of New Orleans’ most popular restaurant, retail, and entertainment destinations. Corporate Realty’s Austin Lavin and Richard Weber have represented The Domain Companies since 2017 in leasing the commercial spaces in this transformational project.
The new commercial ventures include Magazine Street boutique Sotre, which expanded in July 2021 into a second location in the space formerly occupied by Lukka Boutique at 711 O’Keefe. District Donuts, a local favorite, will mark its fifth location in the New Orleans area when it opens in the space formerly occupied by Company Burger at 611 O’Keefe Street. Tava Indian Street Food will be relocating from its stall at Auction House Market to the restaurant space formerly occupied by Aglio, also at 611 O’Keefe Street. Terry Dental Aesthetics will open in ground floor space in The Standard at 1001 Julia Street, at the intersection of S. Rampart Street.
Covering five city blocks at the intersection of the Central Business District, Warehouse/Arts District, and Sports/Entertainment District, South Market features almost seven hundred residential units in four buildings, the last of which, The Odeon, opened in January 2020. Commercial tenants include Eustis Mortgage, Body B Fit, Hair Loft, The Daily Beet, Willa Jean, Zeus’ Place, Maypop, and many more.
