Michael Pousson, MRED, LEED AP BD+C Assistant General Manager, Benson Tower

Michael joined Corporate Realty in 2011 as an associate real estate broker and the assistant general manager of Benson Tower. Michael has been working in the commercial real estate industry since 2006 and has provided numerous owners with professional advice in the leasing and management of their office, medical office, retail, and industrial properties.

Before joining Corporate Realty, Michael worked for Vintage Realty Company in Shreveport, LA as a commercial property investment manager and associate real estate broker managing a portfolio of over 330,000 square feet. He has also previously worked for the Acquisitions Department of TIC Properties, Inc. in Greenville, SC performing market analysis and due diligence investigations for potential acquisitions.

Michael graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and was awarded the School of Management’s distinguished “Excellence in Major Award.” He is also a proud graduate of Clemson University’s Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) Program.

Michael is a member of the Louisiana Green Building Council, the Institute of Real Estate Management, IREM® Louisiana, the Building Owners and Managers Association, the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors, the Urban Land Institute, the CCIM Institute, and the Louisiana Chapter of the CCIM Institute.

Believing that all truly good developments must also demonstrate good stewardship of environmental resources, Michael has earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional designation for the Building Design and Construction rating system (LEED AP BD+C). Michael is also currently seeking his CCIM, CPM, and RPA designations.
