Hotel Henrietta Opens Along St. Charles Avenue

Hayden Wren and Austin Lavin of Corporate Realty are pleased to welcome Hotel Henrietta to the world-famous St. Charles Avenue in the heart of Uptown New Orleans. Hayden and Austin represented the site owner during the site acquisition of 3500 Saint Charles Avenue.

Hotel Henrietta is housed in a new 40-room contemporary building that draws upon the rich history of New Orleans architecture, just a few blocks from the corner of Louisiana Avenue.  The property features oversized balconies, custom-designed furniture, and a gracious porch and patio overlooking the avenue. A majority of the rooms feature kitchens or kitchenettes, sitting areas and complimentary laundry facilities. The property was developed by Formwork Development and Sandstone Hospitality and is operated by Sandstone. The hotel is an extension of Columns, the storied 18-room hotel with extensive event spaces located just a few blocks away at 3811 St. Charles Ave. Columns was originally built in 1883 by prominent New Orleans architect Thomas Sully as a private residence for Simon Hernsheim, a wealthy tobacco merchant and philanthropist, and his sister, Henrietta, provided the name for the new hotel. Hotel Henrietta is now open and accepting reservations.

Austin also connected the hotel operators with nationally acclaimed New Orleans bakery Flour Moon Bagels, which will provide its locally loved, freshly baked bagels, schmears, and open-faced bagel tartines to hotel guests and neighborhood visitors.
