Baton Rouge-based Marucci Sports is opening a Hitter’s House later this summer in the Greater New Orleans area. This “experiential” retail space provides a place to try out baseball bats as well as 24/7 batting cage access to fee-paying members. Corporate Realty’s Emily Kramer represented Marucci Sports, and Henry Shortess with SVN Urban Properties represented the landlord at 1801 Airline Drive in Metairie.

“I am excited to see Marucci service the Greater New Orleans area from this central location and thoroughly enjoyed working with the team in their search,” Kramer said.

There are currently 10 Hitter’s House locations in the United States, with more in the pipeline, including plans to open an international location in Japan.

Marucci Sports began in 2004 as Marucci Bat Co., a company that only specialized in bats. Its growth over the past two decades includes other baseball products, but bats remain at the forefront of its product line; as of January 2025, Marucci Sports will be the official bat provider of Major League Baseball.
