Corporate Realty is proud to publish this 2nd Quarter 2014 Office Leasing Report prepared by Bruce Sossaman, Leasing Director of the Lakeway Center and Broker Associate, in cooperation with building owner representatives. Bruce reports that occupancy in the New Orleans and Jefferson Class A and B office markets increased from 85.19% in the 2nd quarter 2013, to 86.89% in the 2nd quarter 2014.  In the New Orleans CBD Class A and B market occupancy increased from 83.89% in the 2nd quarter 2013 to 85.75% in the 2nd quarter 2014. The New Orleans CBD Class A office market occupancy increased to 88.69% at mid-year, up from 87.31% a year ago. The New Orleans CBD Class B market increased occupancy from 65.68% occupancy in 2nd quarter of 2013 to 70% occupancy in 2nd quarter 2014. The Metairie Class A and B market occupancy increased from 93.15% in the 2nd quarter 2013 to 93.78% in the 2nd quarter 2014.  Metaire Class A office space mid-year occupancy increased to 95.09%, up from 94.66% one year ago. The Class B office market increased occupancy from 90.30% in 2013 to 90.66% in 2nd quarter.
