The Fresh Market, a gourmet supermarket chain based in North Carolina, recently announced that they will be opening their third store in the New Orleans MSA area. Susan Swan brought The Fresh Market to its first location at Northlake Shopping Center in Mandeville about ten years ago. More recently she secured their second location Uptown in the Garden District on St Charles Ave. Currently under construction, The Fresh Market’s third store will be located in Metairie at Wilshire Plaza Shopping Center, 755 Veterans Blvd. Susan represents The Fresh Market in their search and negotiations for sites throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. In addition to the three NOLA MSA stores, Susan worked with The Fresh Market to open their Lafayette and Baton Rouge stores.

Susan’s varied commercial real estate experience began in 1982 and includes Tenant Representation, sales transactions for raw land, out-parcels, and commercial buildings; tenant coordination and construction; retail and office leasing, as well as shopping center and enclosed mall leasing. She has successfully been involved in the pre-leasing of newly developed retail projects as well as re-tenanting older developments.
