Corporate Realty is proud to publish this 3rd Quarter 2015 Office Leasing Report prepared by Bruce Sossaman, Leasing Director of the Lakeway Center and Broker Associate, in cooperation with building owner representatives.
Bruce reports that in the New Orleans CBD, the Class A market had a small decline in occupancy this quarter from 89.59% to 89.26%, the majority of the change is due to reduction of square footage by some existing tenants in market, and relocation out of market of to government owned building. The Metairie Class A market had a small increase in occupancy from 92.5% to 93.2%, with 16k square feet of positive absorption, the Metairie Class B market increased occupancy from 91.7% to 93% occupancy with 18k square feet of positive absorption. The Elmwood market increased occupancy from 66% to 81% this quarter with lease at 800 Commerce Road West building to TriWest Healthcare Alliance call center.
