On Friday of last week, GE announced that it will open the GE Capital Technology Center in New Orleans which will grow over the next 3 years to house 300 information technology professionals. This GE office will focus on developing new software, processes, and technology for GE’s financial services business, GE Capital. GE will ultimately lease and occupy approximately 60,000 sf of Class A office space in New Orleans.
