Larry is a Director of Corporate Realty with expertise in the selling and leasing of retail properties.
Larry began his commercial real estate career in 1985 based on a background of fifteen years as a retailer, owner, manager, and buyer for a chain of women’s apparel stores in the New Orleans area. He has acquired experience, not only from a retailer’s point of view but also from a retail broker’s view, for the positives and negatives of location, design, and the value of lease negotiation to the retailer and landlord. With this knowledge, Larry started the retail division for Corporate Realty.
Larry has a vast variety of landlord and tenant representation including the exclusive representation in the Louisiana market of such nationally recognized retailers as Costco, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, TJ Maxx®, Marshalls®, HomeGoods, PetSmart and Five Below. Pep Boys enlisted Larry’s services to do the market study and site selections in not only the New Orleans area, but also in Chicago, Phoenix, Denver, Orlando, Michigan, and Indiana. Larry and the retail division also represent developers on the leasing of major retail projects. In more than 30 years, Larry has leased over 5,000,000 sf of retail space and has sold numerous parcels of property for retail use.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also the contact person for ChainLinks, a national retail broker’s referral network.
As a member of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR), Larry has received the Commercial Investment Division’s top retail award for the highest volume of sales and leases from 1997 – 2004.
