John L. Reed Director, Engineering

As the Director of Engineering for Corporate Realty, John is responsible for more than thirty full-time employees. John’s responsibilities include assisting the Property Managers with total building maintenance, acting as an outside consultant for Corporate Realty’s sister company’s regional malls and providing construction management services on large capital projects. John also assists Corporate Realty client’s in performing due diligence on new acquisitions.

John joined Corporate Realty in 1968 as an Apprentice Engineer. From 1969 – 1971 he served as a Machinist Mate in the USS Navy Submarine Service. He rejoined the Company upon his discharge as a 2nd Class Operating Engineer. From 1975 – 1980 John held the position as Chief Engineer at 1010 Common. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Engineering of the CBD properties and held this position from 1980 – 1990.
