Elizabeth L. Hughes Director, Asset Management Services

Elizabeth has over three decades of experience in real estate, including asset management, property management, operations, planning, disposition, valuation and construction. As Director of Asset Management Services for Corporate Realty, she has managed a portfolio that includes the New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal, commercial office buildings, and retail centers.

As a senior asset manager for New York Life Insurance Company in their Manhattan office, Elizabeth was responsible for a portfolio of commercial properties, including office buildings, hotels and apartment projects, located throughout the country, including Louisiana, Texas, California and the eastern seaboard. Elizabeth has also managed portfolios of real estate assets for financial institutions and has special expertise in the repositioning of underperforming assets. She has experience with municipal, commercial, retail, residential and recreational (including marinas) properties. Her professional background includes asset, project and property management, financial analysis, lease analysis and negotiation, and management of in-house staff as well as multi-disciplinary outside consultants and contractors. She has worked with special servicers, public agencies, independent developers, national real estate consultants and designated appraisers in valuation and feasibility analysis.

Elizabeth graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Tulane University, has a Masters degree from the Urban Studies Institute of the University of New Orleans and is a graduate of the New York School of Interior Design.
