Corporate Realty selected to Lease Baton Rouge Office Properties and New Water Campus

Commercial Properties Realty Trust (CPRT) has retained Corporate Realty, Inc. to represent its leasing needs for CPRT’s Baton Rouge office properties including the Bon Carre’ Business Center and the recently announced multi-building Water Campus in downtown Baton Rouge.

The approximate 30 acre Water Campus will be the home of The Water Institute of the Gulf, an independent applied research organization currently focused on producing and providing unassailable scientific solutions to the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority as it works to implement Louisiana’s $50 billion Coastal Protection and Restoration Plan. The area is programmed to house scientific, engineering, construction and governmental agencies to create a vibrant experiential environment designed for developing process-based predictive models that link physical and ecological processes.  When fully built out, this urban, riverside campus anticipates well over 2,000 occupants and inspire international collaboration with other global water campuses and universities.

Corporate Realty’s President, Michael J. Siegel, and Leasing Agent Randy White will head the leasing/marketing team for CPRT. “We are extremely excited about this assignment and our association with Commercial Properties. Not only is CPRT an accomplished developer, President & CEO Carolyn Martin and her team have a great vision for Baton Rouge, and we are thrilled to be a part of the team that will help implement this vision. Our firm has had a consistent and successful presence in Baton Rouge for many years. This experience, together with our overall track record with office building leasing and development, gives us the expertise to proactively represent CPRT in the Baton Rouge area,” said Siegel.

“Mike Siegel and Randy White have the experience with office buildings, with national and local office tenants, plus they understand both our vision and the importance of our office building portfolio,” said Gerard “Stick” Thibodeaux, Vice President & COO of Commercial Properties. “We expect this to be a terrific relationship,” he said.

Corporate Realty will begin working with CPRT immediately on both of these projects along with other CPRT planned office projects and will be housed in CPRT’s offices on Fourth Street in Baton Rouge.
