Corporate Realty Presents Lilette’s Chilled Sweet Corn Broth with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and Avocado

Jan 2014 Cover photoSince 1997, Corporate Realty has shared a monthly mailer that not only highlights our recent transactions, but a recipe or story from a great local restaurant. In the past, we’ve featured recipes from Commander’s Palace, Leah Chase, Lucky Dog and many others – and we’re proud to be associated with some of the best Louisiana has to offer.

New Orleans has long been known as a city of neighborhoods – where rich history, local pride and cultural diversity thrive. Among the most delightful of these neighborhoods is the six mile stretch known as Magazine Street, from Canal Street in the CBD threading through the Garden District and up to Audubon Park.

Combining residences and businesses in every block, it is home to a broad variety of locally owned shops, galleries, antique stores and artisans. Not to be overlooked are the unique and outstanding restaurants on almost every block, providing the kind of culinary excellence that has made New Orleans a mecca for foodies everywhere.

At Corporate Realty, we are proud to be a part of the rich heritage of this area, and it’s our pleasure to share our knowledge with you of the neighborhoods and restaurants that are a part of this tapestry.

Look forward to seeing recipes from nine Magazine Street restaurants throughout the upcoming year posted on our website. We hope they will inspire you to launch your own cultural adventure in one of New Orleans’ most charming neighborhoods.

Our current featured recipe is Chilled Sweet Corn Broth with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and Avocado. Please try it out and let us know what you think.
